Everyone knows that Esports has been booming in the last few years, especially during the pandemic where many were seen to return to PC Gaming as a way to kill time when stuck at home.
For those who love to play Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO), there has been a major update for those interested in the competitive scene.&nbsp; Ancient, which is a map that was released during the Operation Broken Fang has replaced the ever so popular map, Train, in the active study map pool.

An announcement was made that the first Regional Major Ranking (RMR) events that are set to play out the old map pool. But the following tournaments will be following the new change.

Does this mean Train will be getting a remake?
Small possibility that yes, it could get a remake. In the available map pools available for competitive CSGO, Train is one of the few maps which has yet to see a &ldquo;remake&rdquo; inclusive of Overpass. In the past, the developers have made remakes to most the maps such as Vertigo, Mirage and the very well-known map, Dust 2.
Maps such as Cobblestone and Cache also saw remakes but were not added back into the active map pool ever since.
For those grinding the Operation Broken Fang, they&rsquo;ll likely benefit from it as they have played many casual games of the new Ancient map.

CSGO: Valve Makes Changes to Competitive Map Pool

The Land Public Transport Agency (APAD) has issued a formal termination notice to ride-hailing platform inDrive, signalling the potential end of the company&rsquo;s operations in Malaysia. The notice, dated 24 April 2025, gives the company three months to either resolve the situation or return its Intermediation Business Licence (IBL) by 24 July 2025.
APAD cited non-compliance with conditions outlined under the Land Public Transport Act 2010 (Act 715) and regulatory requirements introduced in 2019. These include failing to ensure that its drivers possess valid Public Service Vehicle (PSV) and E-Hailing Vehicle Permit (eVP) licences&mdash;documents that are legally mandatory for all e-hailing drivers in Malaysia.

Safety and Documentation Failures Behind Regulatory Action

The situation escalated due to a rise in safety-related incidents involving inDrive drivers, which further undermined public trust in the platform. APAD&rsquo;s decision also reflects wider efforts by Malaysian authorities to tighten oversight over e-hailing services and curb unauthorised operations.
This enforcement action bears striking resemblance to the case of Maxim, another Russian-founded ride-hailing firm that was expelled from the Malaysian market in 2023. At the time, the Road Transport Department (JPJ) discovered that out of 5,000 vehicles listed under Maxim, only 8% were properly licensed. That led to a full revocation of Maxim&rsquo;s licence and a ban on its services in the country.

&ldquo;We are committed to providing safe, reliable, and accessible mobility solutions to the tens of thousands of people across Malaysia who rely on our platform every day,&rdquo; the company said. &ldquo;As a global mobility and urban services platform, inDrive operates with the highest regard for local laws, regulations, and the communities we serve.&rdquo;
The company also reassured its driver-partners and passengers that its services would continue uninterrupted while discussions with authorities were ongoing. inDrive Malaysia sent a message to its drivers stating it was &ldquo;currently in communication with the relevant regulatory authorities to seek further clarification regarding a recent development involving our operations.&rdquo;
It further promised to issue public updates once greater clarity has been achieved. In the meantime, drivers have been encouraged to continue offering services as usual, although their compliance with local licensing laws remains under scrutiny.
A Rocky Regulatory History in Malaysia

While APAD&rsquo;s notice is a serious blow, inDrive still has the opportunity to appeal. The company may submit a formal appeal through APAD, which will then forward the matter to the Ministry of Transport for further consideration. RIIZE Is Finally Coming To Malaysia And Singapore With Their ‘RIIZING LOUD’ Asia Tour

After more than a decade of dazzling performances with EXO and a string of solo hits under his belt, Baekhyun is finally embarking on his first-ever solo world tour &mdash; and it&rsquo;s one for the books. Titled Reverie, the highly anticipated tour will span multiple continents and includes stops in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, marking a significant milestone in Baekhyun&rsquo;s solo journey.
Who Is Baekhyun?

Baekhyun is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor renowned for his dynamic vocals and charismatic stage presence. He debuted in 2012 as a member of the K-pop group EXO, as well as its sub-units EXO-K and EXO-CBX, and later became the leader of the supergroup SuperM.

Baekhyun launched his solo career in 2019 with the EP City Lights, which sold over 550,000 copies, making it the best-selling solo album in South Korea for that year. He continued his success with Delight (2020), which became the first album by a South Korean soloist to surpass one million sales in 19 years, and Bambi (2021), which also achieved million-seller status. His 2024 album Hello, World was the world's best-selling album by a K-pop soloist that year, with 1.4 million units sold.
Throughout his career, Baekhyun has received numerous accolades, including three consecutive Mnet Asian Music Awards for Best Male Artist from 2019 to 2021. He has also been recognized with awards from the Golden Disc Awards, Melon Music Awards, and Seoul Music Awards.
In 2023, Baekhyun established his own label, INB100, seeking greater creative autonomy while continuing group activities with EXO under SM Entertainment. He embarked on his first solo tour, the Lonsdaleite Tour, in 2024, performing across Asia and showcasing his versatility as an artist.
Beyond music, Baekhyun has ventured into acting, notably starring in the historical drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016), for which he received the New Star Award at the SBS Drama Awards. He also co-hosted the music program Inkigayo and participated in various variety shows, further demonstrating his multifaceted talent.

While ticketing information has yet to be announced, organisers have confirmed that more details &mdash; including seating maps, pricing tiers, and fan benefits &mdash; will be revealed in the coming weeks. Singapore Welcomes Baekhyun in November

After ten years of making their mark on the Malaysian music scene &mdash; and in the playlists of countless fans across the region &mdash; pop-rock band Insomniacks are ready to take the stage for their first-ever solo concert. Titled Echoes of a Dream: Insomniacks Live in Concert, the event marks a significant milestone for the beloved group.

Insomniacks is a Malaysian pop-rock band that has rapidly emerged as one of the country's most beloved music acts, known for their emotionally charged lyrics, catchy melodies, and youthful energy. Formed in 2015, the band first gained attention by uploading cover songs on YouTube, showcasing their raw talent and chemistry. It wasn&rsquo;t long before they transitioned into crafting their own original sound, debuting with the heartfelt single &ldquo;Selalu&rdquo; in 2017 &mdash; a song that resonated deeply with listeners and was featured on the Astro Ria drama My Coffee Prince.
