The content they were viewing were not disclosed but we can only assume that they were probably popular K-dramas and K-pop artists. 5,000 DVD players that were used to secretly watch the said content were handed to authorities by the students in hopes of getting lighter sentences. If found guilty, the students will face 15 years in a forced labor camp, and a heavy fine for the violators' parents.

&ldquo;This move aligns with our efforts to modernise public transport and push towards a fully digital and cashless society,&rdquo; said Loke during the launch. &ldquo;A world-class public transport system is not just about having trains and buses; it&rsquo;s also about seamless digital infrastructure.&rdquo;
How It Works: My50 on Your Phone

The court ruled that the prosecution had failed to prove the core elements of the offences, particularly the intent required for criminal breach of trust (CBT), misappropriation, and money laundering. According to the judgment, the failure to properly direct the trial and the misinterpretation of legal standards warranted full appellate intervention.

Syed Saddiq, 32, had been convicted in 2023 on four charges:
