Do you know the feeling of wanting new gaming equipment, but you can&rsquo;t let your parents know that you bought something new JUST TO GAME? Yeah, I think every guy who games have been there.
I too sometimes fall down the rabbit hole of wanting to try new equipment, especially when it comes to headphones, mouse, and mousepads. In all honesty, the three most important things most gamers would prioritise their mouse as the #1 most important item as it comes in many shapes and sizes to suit your grip style.
One of the biggest issues I had back then was when I want/need new equipment, it was trying to get pass my parents. In the word of Michael Reeves, you need to use LIES and DECEIT.

A game store in Singapore had encountered this situation and they did not fail to impress.
Singapore-based store <a href="https://www.facebook.com/endlesspassion168/">Endless Passion</a> had a request by a young customer who had ordered the Logitech G Pro X Superlight wireless gaming mouse which cost S$239 (~RM 746.99). Just to note, the G Pro X superlight is actually RM649 in Malaysia.
The customer had messaged them to use discreet packaging when delivering the new mouse to him.

The customer started the conversation with a &ldquo;Hi&rdquo; and proceeded to asking if the store could wrap the mouse in a simple package cover as he would like to hide his new purchase from his mother.
Of course, the store has an automated messaging system to get back to him soon but soon after, with absolutely no hesitation, the store replied to him, &ldquo;Ok sure&rdquo;.
Not going to lie, most places tend to ignore request like this, but I&rsquo;m surprised the store was willing to help out.

The store had managed to disguise the mouse in a package claiming its &ldquo;books for study&rdquo; and they had left a cheeky smile.&nbsp;

The customer was so happy that he couldn&rsquo;t help sharing his excitement of getting a new mouse and he took a picture of it side by side with a Logitech G604 and a Razer Viper Ultimate (presumably with the charging dock) which are both worth RM399 and RM599 respectively.

Four days of hope and desperate searching came to a heartbreaking end after missing teenager Nur Izzati Humaira Azizul was found dead near Bukit Changkat Asa in Hulu Selangor on Tuesday afternoon.
The 19-year-old had been reported missing on Saturday, 23 May, after becoming separated from her family while descending the hill during a hiking trip. Her disappearance quickly captured national attention, with thousands of Malaysians following updates online and praying for her safe return throughout the extensive search and rescue (SAR) operation.
Body Found Near Last Known Location

According to the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), Nur Izzati&rsquo;s body was discovered at approximately 11.59am on 26 May by SAR personnel conducting operations in the area.
Selangor JBPM assistant operations director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the teenager was found outside the designated hiking trail, about 500 metres from the last location where she was believed to have been seen and around one kilometre from the incident control post.
Rescuers reportedly took around 20 minutes to carry her body back to the control post using a stretcher before handing her over to the police. Her remains were initially taken to Kuala Kubu Bharu Hospital before being transferred to Sungai Buloh Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Police have since classified the case as sudden death while investigations continue.
Went Ahead Alone After Feeling Exhausted

Nur Izzati was believed to have gone missing at around 10.50am on Saturday while descending Bukit Changkat Asa with her family.
According to reports, the teenager had decided to walk ahead alone after feeling exhausted and overheated during the hike. It is understood she intended to reach the foot of the hill earlier to wait inside the family car and switch on the air conditioning while the others completed the descent.
However, she never returned to the vehicle, prompting concern among family members before authorities were alerted.
The SAR operation, involving multiple agencies and volunteers, continued for four days across difficult terrain and dense forest areas before the tragic discovery was made.
Nationwide Attention And Public Concern

Over the past several days, the case generated widespread attention across Malaysian social media platforms and news outlets. Many members of the public shared updates, offered prayers, and expressed hope that the teenager would eventually be found alive.

Nur Izzati was laid to rest in the early hours following the completion of post-mortem procedures. Her funeral prayers were held at Masjid Ar-Riduaniah in Felda Trolak Utara before she was buried at the Felda Trolak Utara Muslim cemetery at around 3.05am.
Speaking after the burial, her father, Azizul Abdul Aziz, expressed gratitude to Malaysians and all agencies involved in the search efforts.
&ldquo;I&rsquo;m even envious of my own daughter. What good deeds did she do that all of Malaysia prayed for her and sent such positive words?&rdquo; he said emotionally.
He also urged the public not to create unnecessary speculation surrounding the tragedy and thanked everyone who continued praying for the family throughout the difficult ordeal.
Azizul added that this year&rsquo;s Aidiladha would now forever carry a deeper meaning for their family following the loss of his daughter, whom he described as a loving and devoted child.
The tragedy has since sparked conversations online about hiking safety, the importance of staying together during outdoor activities, and the unpredictable dangers of forest trails even over seemingly short distances.
It also serves as a reminder to everyone planning outdoor activities or hikes. Regardless of whether a trail is considered easy or difficult, always stay together as a group and avoid separating from one another along the journey. Malaysia&rsquo;s social media feeds were flooded this week with claims that Canada had officially removed visa requirements for Malaysians. For many, it sounded like long-awaited good news: visa-free holidays to Toronto, Vancouver, or even a quick stopover in Montreal without the hassle of embassy paperwork.
However, the reality is slightly more complicated.
While Canada has indeed eased travel requirements for certain Malaysians, the new system only applies to eligible travellers who already meet specific immigration conditions. For most Malaysians, the standard visa process remains unchanged.
Canada Introduces Easier Entry Option For Certain Malaysians

The Canadian government recently announced changes to its travel requirements for eligible citizens from Malaysia and Indonesia as part of its broader Indo-Pacific engagement strategy.
Under the new arrangement, qualifying Malaysians can now apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) instead of going through the longer Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) process when travelling to or transiting through Canada by air.
The policy officially came into effect on 26 May 2026.
Canadian Immigration Minister Lena Metlege Diab said the move is intended to strengthen trade, tourism, investment, and people-to-people ties between Canada and countries in the Indo-Pacific region, including Malaysia.
However, despite the excitement online, this does not mean Canada has fully removed visa requirements for all Malaysians.
What Exactly Is An eTA?

An eTA, or Electronic Travel Authorisation, is essentially a digital travel clearance linked electronically to a traveller&rsquo;s passport.
The system works similarly to travel authorisation systems used by countries such as Australia and the United Kingdom. It allows eligible travellers to obtain permission to board flights to Canada without needing to apply for a traditional visitor visa.
The application is completed entirely online and costs only CAD7 (approximately RM20). In most cases, approvals are issued within minutes, although some applications may require additional checks or supporting documents.
Once approved, the eTA remains valid for up to five years or until the traveller&rsquo;s passport expires, whichever comes first.
However, it is important to understand that an eTA is not the same as completely visa-free travel. Travellers must still obtain approval before flying, and Canadian immigration officers retain the authority to deny entry upon arrival if necessary.
So, Who Actually Qualifies?

This is where many people misunderstood the announcement.

<li>Have previously held a Canadian Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) within the past 10 years, or</li>
<li>Currently hold a valid United States non-immigrant visa</li>
</ul>
In simple terms, the new arrangement mainly benefits Malaysians who have already gone through immigration screening by either Canada or the United States before.
If you are a first-time visitor to Canada and do not hold a valid US visa, you will still need to apply for a standard Canadian visitor visa exactly as before.
What Happens If You Don&rsquo;t Qualify?

For Malaysians who do not meet the eligibility requirements, the normal visa application process still applies.
This includes:

<li>Paying the CAD100 (approximately RM288) visitor visa fee</li>
<li>Paying an additional CAD85 (approximately RM245) biometrics fee</li>
<li>Attending an in-person biometric appointment at the VFS Global centre in Kuala Lumpur for fingerprinting and photographs</li>
</ul>
Applicants may also be asked to submit supporting documents such as proof of financial capability, travel plans, employment details, and evidence showing they intend to return to Malaysia after their visit.
Processing times can take several weeks, with Canadian authorities recommending travellers apply at least eight weeks before their intended departure date.
Important Catch: The eTA Only Works For Air Travel

Another important detail many people overlooked is that the eTA only applies to travellers arriving in Canada by air.

Travellers who already possess a valid Canadian visitor visa can also continue using it until it expires, without needing to apply for an eTA immediately.
Part Of Canada&rsquo;s Bigger Indo-Pacific Strategy
Canadian authorities say the policy change forms part of a larger effort to strengthen economic and diplomatic ties across Asia.
According to official Canadian government figures, Malaysia is currently one of Canada&rsquo;s largest bilateral merchandise trading partners in Southeast Asia. Trade between both countries reportedly increased by around 60% between 2020 and 2025, rising from US$3.8 billion to US$6.1 billion.
In 2025 alone, Canada welcomed approximately 11,500 Malaysian visitors.
The Canadian government also stressed that despite the relaxed entry process for eligible travellers, border security and immigration screening standards remain firmly in place.
What Malaysians Should Know Before Booking Flights
For Malaysians who already hold a valid US visa or previously travelled to Canada with a TRV, the new eTA system could significantly simplify future trips.
The process is faster, cheaper, and considerably more convenient compared to a full visitor visa application. However, for everyone else, nothing has fundamentally changed.
In other words, Canada has not fully become visa-free for Malaysians &mdash; at least not yet.

Malaysian entrepreneur and media personality Datuk Seri Vida once again captured attention online after surprising her daughter, Cik B, with a luxury Lamborghini Urus in celebration of her 21st birthday.
The lavish surprise took place shortly after Cik B&rsquo;s performance during the sixth week of Talk To My Manager 2 (TTMM2), where the birthday celebration was held live on television in front of family, friends, and the audience.

According to Datuk Seri Vida, whose real name is Hasmiza Othman, the black-and-yellow Lamborghini Urus was purchased entirely in cash as a gift for her daughter.
Initial reports estimated the vehicle to be worth around RM1.6 million. However, many automotive enthusiasts quickly pointed out that this was not a standard Lamborghini Urus.
The SUV seen in the viral videos appears to feature a full Mansory body kit with extensive carbon fibre modifications, significantly increasing its value beyond the price of a regular Urus.
With the customisation taken into account, some estimates suggest the vehicle could be worth anywhere between RM2 million and RM3 million &mdash; or potentially even more depending on specifications and imported components.

For those unfamiliar, Mansory is a luxury automotive modification company based in Germany, best known for transforming already high-end vehicles into ultra-exclusive creations through aggressive styling, custom interiors, forged carbon fibre parts, bespoke wheels, and performance enhancements.
The company frequently works on brands such as Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Bentley, and Mercedes-Benz, with many of its builds produced in extremely limited numbers worldwide. Among luxury car collectors, Mansory vehicles are considered highly exclusive due to both their rarity and extremely high modification costs.
In Malaysia, Mansory-fitted Lamborghini Urus models are rarely seen on the road, with automotive enthusiasts estimating that there are fewer than 10 genuine Mansory-converted Urus units currently in the country.
Because of that rarity, some netizens speculated that the vehicle gifted to Cik B may have been a pre-owned imported unit rather than a completely new build. However, no official details regarding the exact model year or ownership history have been disclosed publicly.
Regardless, the SUV remains one of the most expensive and exclusive celebrity gifts seen locally in recent years.
Cik B Says She Never Expected It

She revealed that she had casually mentioned wanting a blue Lamborghini Urus for her birthday when asked by her mother, but never imagined it would actually happen. Instead, she was surprised with a black Mansory version during the live broadcast.
Cik B also shared that she sometimes feels undeserving of such extravagant gifts, especially considering that Datuk Seri Vida had previously gifted her a Mercedes-Benz Brabus G63 as well.
Despite growing up surrounded by luxury, many netizens praised her for remaining humble and grounded in interviews and public appearances.

Motorists travelling to Genting Highlands will soon have to pay a new road charge, with Lingkaran Cekap Sdn Bhd (LCSB) officially beginning collections from 28 May 2026.
The company, which is the authorised operator for the Genting Highlands road network, said the implementation will take place in two phases across May and June. The move follows an earlier trial period that began in April, where motorists were required to tap their Touch &lsquo;n Go cards, debit cards, or credit cards at gantries without being charged.
Under the new system, all permitted road users entering Jalan Genting Highlands will be required to pay unless they fall under the exempted categories. Payment collection will take place at two entry points &mdash; the Genting Highlands entry at Genting Sempah and the Gohtong Jaya entry at the Gohtong Jaya roundabout.

Vehicles under Classes 2, 3, 4, and 5 are required to use designated &ldquo;Lorong Khas&rdquo; lanes or the Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) system when entering.
Meanwhile, emergency vehicles, motorcycles, and private vehicles belonging to public servants working at selected government institutions in Genting Highlands will be exempted from the charges.
The exempted government institutions include schools, police stations, the fire and rescue department, clinics, district offices, and several government administration offices located in Genting Highlands.
Road Charges Introduced After Trial Phase

The implementation comes after a testing phase introduced on 2 April 2026. During the trial, motorists were required to tap their payment cards at gantries, although no fees were imposed at the time.
According to Genting Malaysia Group, the road charge is part of a long-term effort to maintain safety and sustainability along the highland route under a &ldquo;user pays&rdquo; principle.
The company said the collected funds would support resurfacing works, slope stabilisation, drainage upgrades, monitoring systems, urgent repairs, and emergency responses involving landslides, rockfalls, and severe weather conditions.
Given the challenging terrain and weather in Genting Highlands, the operator said continuous maintenance is necessary to prevent the road from deteriorating at a faster rate.
As the appointed operator, LCSB is responsible for overall road management, including resurfacing, slope reinforcement, monitoring systems, operational oversight, and emergency response activities.
Discounts And Season Passes For Residents

A second phase of the implementation will begin on 28 June 2026, where eligible permanent residents of Genting Highlands can register up to two Class 1 vehicles to enjoy a preferential rate that is 10% lower than the standard charge.
Registered vehicles under the resident scheme will not incur any charges before the second phase begins.
LCSB will also introduce a six-month season pass scheme for registered permanent residents, allowing unlimited entries into Jalan Genting Highlands throughout the validity period via the LPR system or Lorong Khas lanes.
Residents interested in applying for the scheme must submit supporting documents during registration, including vehicle ownership certificates, Sales and Purchase Agreements (SPA), Quit Rent or Assessment Bills, as well as copies of electricity bills.

Still, with Genting Highlands remaining one of Malaysia&rsquo;s most popular tourist destinations, many are expected to continue making the journey despite the new fees.
