Costa Rica, a trailblazer in renewable energy, has consistently run on almost 100% renewable energy for sustained periods. For several years now, Costa Rica has run on entirely renewable energy for an average of about 300 days per year. That means the government did not burn oil, coal, or natural gas to power the country.
Goal 8: Decent Work And Economic Growth
This goal promotes inclusive economic growth and decent work for all. Germany's dual vocational training system reduces youth unemployment and provides valuable skills. The German vocational education and training system is highly recognized worldwide due to its combination of theory and training in a real-life work environment.
Goal 9: Industry, Innovation And Infrastructure
Goal nine focuses on building resilient infrastructure and fostering innovation. China's Belt and Road Initiative is a massive project promoting economic development and connectivity across continents.

Not to mention, Malaysia's focus on innovation and infrastructure development is evident through the Pan-Borneo Highway project &ndash; a testament to the commitment to improving transportation infrastructure for sustainable development.

The circular economy framework is being promoted to minimize waste and environmental impact.
Similarly, Malaysia's pledge to the Paris Agreement and the National Renewable Energy Policy demonstrates a proactive stance on climate action. Initiatives like the Green Technology Financing Scheme support businesses adopting eco-friendly practices.
On top of it all, conservation efforts, such as protecting marine biodiversity in marine parks and sustainable forestry practices, contribute to Malaysia's commitment to life below water and life on land.
Lastly, Malaysia actively engages in international collaborations, exemplified by its participation in the ASEAN community and regional and global forums to collectively address common challenges.
