<p>Johan Ghazali Zulfikar, also known as "Jojo," is a remarkable young talent in the world of Muay Thai from Malaysia. Born in Kajang, Selangor, and later moving to Sarawak, Johan has quickly risen to prominence in the sport. He started making waves in the Muay Thai community at a young age, securing several notable victories, including winning the 14-15 age category at the 2022 IFMA World Youth Muay Thai Championship. His impressive performances continued at the ONE Championship events where he showcased his skills by achieving quick knockouts, further establishing his reputation as a prodigious fighter.</p>
<p>His victories are not just limited to youth competitions; Johan has also performed exceptionally on the global stage. He triumphed at the ONE Championship event in Bangkok, where he knocked out an opponent in just 16 seconds, which was an early highlight in his career. His success earned him a performance bonus and marked his entry into professional Muay Thai with significant impact.</p>

<p>Johan's commitment to his sport is evident in his rigorous training regimen, often involving two intensive sessions per day, and his strategic and powerful fighting style has led him to several quick victories in the ring. These achievements have not only brought him fame but also the aspiration to secure a lucrative contract with the ONE Championship, aiming to become a champion in the sport he loves.</p>

<p>Johan is gearing up for this high-stakes match, which is part of the ONE 167 event at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand. Competing in the flyweight category, the winner has the chance to earn a performance bonus of USD50,000 (~ RM234,737), subject to meeting specific criteria.</p>
<p>Despite the tempting prize, Johan, who has maintained his unbeaten streak in ONE Championship, emphasizes that his primary motivation comes from his desire to bring pride to Malaysia and to honour the unwavering support of those who have stood by him from the beginning.</p>
<p><strong>First Time Back In The Ring Since December 2023 After Focusing On SPM</strong></p>
<p>At just 17 years old, Johan had to balance his fighting career with his studies, particularly focusing on his Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) examination. Despite the academic pressure, he demonstrated his prowess in the ring. Before sitting for his SPM, he faced WBC Champion Edgar Tabares from Mexico in a match that lasted only 36 seconds, thanks to Johan delivering a knockout blow.</p>

<p>In an interview with the ONE Championship news portal, onefc.com, Johan emphasized that he won't underestimate Duy Nhat. "I will say that he's really versatile. He has everything. He has hands, he has elbows, he has knees, he has kicks. But the one thing that stands out is his head kicks. You know, I've seen him throw a few head kicks, and they can get dangerous. But I've prepared for it. I'm ready for it. So we should have an answer for whatever he throws. We're ready," he said.</p>
<p>Johan also believes his youth will be a significant advantage against the seasoned Duy Nhat. "I feel like the advantage I have in this fight is my youth. I'm younger, I recover faster, I'm stronger, so I feel like this is something I can guarantee on my end. But because he could be tough, I think I'm going to be in for a tough start. But I do know he will get tired in the later rounds, which then make it easier for me to knock him out," Johan explained.</p>
<p>With a clear strategy and confidence in his abilities, Johan promises the fight to be a thrilling and challenging encounter.</p>
