On 12 June 2024, the stage was set for the much-anticipated finale of the Good Virtues Co. Do Good Challenge Season 2. In a spectacular closing ceremony, Good Virtues Co., a leading halal personal care brand, in partnership with Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), proudly declared the winner of the RM 30,000 prize.
Launched in October 2023, the challenge was a collaborative initiative between Good Virtues Co., UiTM and MYC aimed at equipping young Malaysians with practical entrepreneurial skills. Under the banner "In Doing Good, We Believe That Good Is Returned," the contest inspired participants to contribute positively to society while engaging in spirited competition.
This season marked a significant milestone as Good Virtues Co. became the first brand to tie submissions from the Do Good Challenge to the credit-bearing SULAM Program, an integral part of the curriculum approved by the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia. This innovative approach not only enhances academic offerings but also nurtures well-rounded graduates with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Now in its second year following a triumphant inaugural season, the Do Good Challenge presents an opportunity for UiTM students to present their creative solutions to a panel of experts. The competition focuses on four critical areas of Community Engagement: Education, Health, Humanitarianism, and Environment, fostering a platform for impactful ideas and transformative community service.

Spanning 30 UiTM campuses, including East Malaysia for the first time, the competition attracted over 10,000 entries, providing students a unique platform to apply their academic insights to real-world challenges while promoting civic responsibility. The contest unfolded in four rigorous phases: submissions, workshops, training, and the selection of five finalists who each received seed funding of RM8,000.
These finalists' relentless dedication led to a compelling display of their projects, impressing a distinguished panel of judges with their innovative solutions. At the eagerly anticipated finale, the atmosphere was electric with excitement as the Grand Prize announcement was made. The winner, securing the coveted RM30,000, was celebrated with resounding applause, marking a memorable culmination of the event.

CatChateau Transit Terminal: Cat Transit Shelter at College

CatChateau Transit Terminal, an innovative project by students from UiTM Pulau Pinang, Permatang Pauh, envisions a campus community where stray and abandoned cats are cared for and appreciated. Led by Muhammad Arif Bin Burhanudin Shah and Muhammad Afwan Bin Anuar, this initiative plans to establish a cat transit shelter on campus. The shelter aims to provide a safe haven for cats while fostering a culture of empathy, responsibility, and respect among students, faculty, and staff. By integrating animal welfare into campus life, CatChateau seeks to create a harmonious environment for all. 
DURA-ACE: Digital Unity for Rural Sabah Area

DURA-ACE, an initiative by students from UiTM Sabah, seeks to bridge the digital divide in underprivileged communities across Malaysia. The team, consisting of Rayon George, Clarence Calixtus Laudi, and Isaac Enoch Sabinus, establishes technology centers in rural and low-income areas, offering access to computers, internet, and digital skills training. This project aims to provide equal opportunities for technological advancement and education, ensuring that no community is left behind in the digital age. 
Youth Mentorship Crew (YMC): Educational Program for Underprivileged Kids @ Pra Tahfiz Jerangau

The Youth Mentorship Crew (YMC) from UiTM Dungun is dedicated to improving the lives of children in orphanages, particularly at Pra Tahfiz Jerangau. Led by Nur Syakirah Binti Mohd Asri, Nur Aisyah Nadia Binti Rosli, and Aimi Sahira Binti Halim, YMC addresses critical issues such as limited access to academic resources, lack of guardian support, and the need for reliable peer mentoring. By providing educational programs and mentorship, YMC aims to empower these children, fostering their academic growth and personal development. 
FruityBites: Empowering Students through Healthy Jajan Business

FruityBites, a student-led initiative from UiTM Shah Alam, aims to promote healthier eating habits among students by distributing nutritious snacks on campus. The project, spearheaded by Ahmad Amiruzzakwan Bin Mohd Said, Muhammad Akmalludin Hakim Bin Zamroh, and Muhammad Amir Izzuddin Bin Mat Nawi, focuses on providing students with convenient access to healthy snacks, which in turn supports better cognitive function and overall well-being. By encouraging healthier dietary choices, FruityBites hopes to create a more vibrant and academically successful student body.
BizBoost: Supporting Single Mothers through Photography Business

BizBoost, a project initiated by students from UiTM Terengganu, Dungun, focuses on empowering single mothers by integrating them into the creative arts, specifically through photography. Noor Aimi 'Aaqilah Binti Mohd Asri, Muhammad Alif Najman Bin Mohd Adli, and Shameen Batrisya Binti Mohamad Rizal lead this initiative, aiming to provide single mothers with the skills and resources needed to start and sustain photography businesses. By supporting these women, BizBoost hopes to foster local entrepreneurship and positively impact the broader community.

In an interview, we had the opportunity to speak with a group of students who recently embarked on a challenging but rewarding project. They shared their experiences, emphasizing the vital lessons they learned along the way.
The students collectively highlighted the importance of communication and teamwork. "It was crucial for us to communicate and work together," one student said. "Without a strong team dynamic, we wouldn't have been able to overcome the obstacles we faced."
They also stressed the significance of perseverance. "There were moments when we felt like giving up, but we learned that it's essential to never give up and keep striving," another student explained. "Each setback was a learning opportunity that made us stronger and more determined."
For those considering a similar initiative, the students had a clear message: "Just do it and don't let anything hold you back. The experience is incredibly rewarding, and you'll gain invaluable skills and insights."
Their journey is a testament to the power of collaboration, resilience, and the courage to take on new challenges. Their advice to future innovators and dreamers is simple but profound: take the leap and believe in your ability to succeed.

After more than a decade of dazzling performances with EXO and a string of solo hits under his belt, Baekhyun is finally embarking on his first-ever solo world tour &mdash; and it&rsquo;s one for the books. Titled Reverie, the highly anticipated tour will span multiple continents and includes stops in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, marking a significant milestone in Baekhyun&rsquo;s solo journey.
Who Is Baekhyun?

Baekhyun is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor renowned for his dynamic vocals and charismatic stage presence. He debuted in 2012 as a member of the K-pop group EXO, as well as its sub-units EXO-K and EXO-CBX, and later became the leader of the supergroup SuperM.
