For Malaysians, it's no secret that we enthusiastically support live performances and are always ready to purchase tickets for concerts. However, it's quite uncommon for an artist to perform in our country twice in the same year, apart from back-to-back shows.
Last month, South Korean band CNBLUE announced their return to Malaysia as part of their upcoming Asia Tour. Many local fans have been eagerly awaiting the trio's comeback since their last concert at the Mega Star Arena in April 2024.
Who Are CN Blue?

Founded in 2009, CNBLUE, which stands for "Code Name Blue," quickly became a prominent South Korean band. The original lineup included Jung Yong-hwa, Kang Min-hyuk, Lee Jung-shin, and Lee Jong-hyun, but the group underwent a significant change on August 28, 2018, when Lee Jong-hyun left amid the Burning Sun scandal and backlash for inappropriate messages to a YouTuber. Since then, CNBLUE has continued as a trio.
The band boasts an impressive discography that includes 11 studio albums, 14 EPs, 33 singles, and three compilation albums, showcasing their musical versatility in Korean, Japanese, English, and more. They have received numerous awards, such as the Golden Disc Awards, Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), and Melon Music Awards.
In addition to their music career, the trio has ventured into acting. Yong-hwa starred in the comedy-drama "Brain Works" (2023), Minhyuk appeared in the popular series "Celebrity" (2023), and Jungshin played a key role in the romantic comedy "Shooting Stars" (2022).

During their initial announcement, CNBLUE revealed little about their &ldquo;VOYAGE into X&rdquo; tour beyond the countries they would be visiting. However, more details about their upcoming show have now been unveiled!
According to the press release, &ldquo;VOYAGE into X&rdquo; incorporates themes of the ocean and the cosmos, symbolizing CNBLUE's adventurous journey into new musical territories. The concert will feature an &ldquo;X&rdquo;-shaped stage design, enhancing the connection between the artists and the audience, allowing BOICE to fully experience the band&rsquo;s charisma while enjoying an unforgettable musical performance.
Initially slated for a concert in Kuala Lumpur, the latest update confirms that CNBLUE will now be performing at Resorts World Genting.

Tickets for the &ldquo;2024 CNBLUE LIVE IN ASIA &ndash; VOYAGE into X MALAYSIA&rdquo; concert will be available for purchase starting October 4, 2024 (Friday) at 11 AM through the official ticketing platforms rwgenting.com and premier.ticketek.com.my. There will be four pricing tiers, each offering exclusive fan benefits, including official photocards and posters. Additionally, lucky fans may have the chance to win signed polaroids, signed posters, rehearsal viewings, high-five events, and photo opportunities, while supplies last.

Catching Up With Their Music
Prior to their last concert, CNBLUE's most recent album was &lsquo;Pleasure&rsquo;, released in 2023. Following their performance, they introduced their song "人生賛歌," marking the band&rsquo;s first-ever title in Japanese.
