For context, back in 2017, a former intern shared her challenging experience while working for the brand, claiming that the workload was excessive and that she endured humiliation in front of customers. In response to these serious allegations, Christy Ng issued a statement firmly denying the claims. She also addressed concerns regarding maternity leave after facing backlash for reportedly misleading headlines in 2019. As an added bonus, she even covered the cost of a confinement service lady for two weeks. While he usually prefers not to discuss work online, he felt compelled to speak out against the negative comments directed at his employer, which resulted in an unwarranted backlash against Christy.
