The world has witnessed and experienced many natural catastrophes: tornadoes, tsunamis, earthquakes, volcano eruptions, floodings- the list goes on.
And speaking of which, I think we all still vividly remember the 2018 flooded cave rescue in Thailand, where we all sat anxiously by our TVs to witness a massive international rescue operation take place.

The Incident
In the months of June and July 2018, a group of junior footballers were stuck and then rescued from the Tham Luang Nang Non cave in Chiang Rai province, Thailand.
After being stuck for almost 10 days, rescue divers located the group of twelve boys- aged between eleven to sixteen- and their 25-year-old assistant coach, who unfortunately got trapped inside after heavy rainfall partially flooded the cave system, blocking their only exit out.

Not long after after the incident had occurred, several shows and documentaries on the event were soon made. However, the most recent depiction of the real-life dramatic event is set to be &ldquo;the most authentic and expansive retelling yet&rdquo;, as said by Netflix, who partnered up with Thai and other international filmmakers to tell the story of this world-famous rescue operation.
Netflix&rsquo;s &ldquo;Thai Cave Rescue&rdquo; will centre the perspectives of the 12 Wild Boars, Coach Eak, and heroes like Saman &lsquo; Ja Sam&rsquo; Ginan, whose lives beyond the operation have remained remotely lowkey.

The show was filmed entirely in Thailand, and it is the only production to have ever been granted access to the 12 young football players and the coach of the Wild Boars team, and this includes filming at their respective homes, as well as the famous Tham Luang cave, where the incident occurred.
The series will show the boys&rsquo; untold perspectives in its 6 episodes semi-documentary, which is directed by Kevin Tancharoen and Nattawut Poonpiriya, and stars local actors such as Urassaya Sperbund, Manatsanun Phanlerdwongsakul, Pratya &ldquo;Tiger&rdquo; Patong, Songpol &ldquo;Pangpon&rdquo; Kantawong, Chakkapat &ldquo;Junior&rdquo; Sisat, Thanawut &ldquo;Bank&rdquo; Chetuku, and more.
