Nina got her food from one of the most famous restaurants in SS15 Subang, Gold Chilli. If you ask anyone in PJ/ Subang, this is a restaurant that needs no introduction as they are famous for their Butter Chicken.
Typically, the restaurant is always packed with people so if you’re thinking of going, you better be quick, but hey, that’s why we have airasia food ;)
Nina got herself the Salted Egg Butter Chicken Set (RM20.50) as well as the fried Kuey Teow which is something that is not commonly ordered by some at the restaurant.
First up, the Kuey Teow. Now since this is a dish that’s not commonly ordered, many would be surprised that the taste of it is really good! There are times that Butter Chicken can get too heavy and if you need a quick meal to-go, Nina does recommend getting it!
As for the Salted Egg Butter Chicken, trust us when we say it, writing about it can never do its justice. Despite taking away the food, the restaurant gives a generous amount of sauce with the meal which gives it the extra kick that everyone loves from a rich butter sauce. The taste of it won’t make you feel queasy midway through your meal. Plus, if you’re not a fan of picking out the bones, you have a boneless chicken option and the meal comes in two different sizes!
If you’re looking to enjoy the meal with others, you should definitely give their Marmite Sotong (RM17.50) or their Mongolia Fish (RM17.00). Both dishes also go well with the butter cream sauce despite it being a completely different sauce.
